Callaway County Jail Records

Callaway County Inmate Visitation
Callaway County Jail uses NCIC Inmate Communications for inmate telephone and video visitation. The official visitation page says inmates have telephone and video-visitation opportunity during normal inmate schedules. All inmate telephone calls are collect calls. Callaway County Inmate Mail
Callaway County is a postcard-only facility for incoming personal mail except legal mail, effective May 1, 2021. Incoming postcards must be standard white postcards no larger than 5 inches by 7 inches. The jail does not accept index cards, photographs, plastic, wrappings, labels, stickers, watermarks, stains, bio-hazards such as lipstick or perfume, nudity, weapons, drug or gang imagery, glitter, packages, cards, magazines, books, or newspaper subscriptions.

Important: Do not mail funds to an inmate; deposits must use the lobby kiosk, Access Corrections, or NCIC for phone time.
Legal mail must be marked "Legal Mail." It is opened in front of the inmate for contraband only. Outgoing legal mail is shown to detention staff before sealing so staff can witness no contraband, let the inmate seal it, and initial the envelope.

Callaway County Inmate Bonding
Bond information shown on the roster should be checked against the court and jail before payment. The jail bonding source says cash bonds require cash or certified bank check.
